The contemporary version of the New President recalls its legendary namesake and establishes itself as a worthy successor to the original. As distinguished examples of premium post-war European archtops, many vintage Presidents were-and still are-owned by renowned and influential jazz guitarists, both past and present.

The New President exemplifies beauty that is functional as well as cosmetic.  for example, separate tone and volume controls are mounted discreetly on the New Presidents  sleek ebony pickguard-and the floating pickup-mounted at the base of the neck-preserve the acoustic integrity of the top by making milling holes unnecessary and the solid spruce German spruce top preserves its acoustic integrity and maximizes its resonance.
